I can appreciate guitars just because they will look good in the video..
COOL GUITARS for the MUSIC VIDEO - I'm a child of the 80s. I grew up back when rock-n-roll bands had big hair, wore spandex, and did spin-kicks on stage. (Trust me, it was oddly cool at the time.) This was back when MTV still played music videos. I'm showing my age a bit, but if you're under 25 years old this may be news - it's true - MTV used to play videos nearly 24 hours a day...

...and for a long period of time looking good in the video was as important as the song.
