After all that, are you still wondering if it's worth putting together a home studio? Are you wondering about what kind of quality you can get?
Well, I thought it would be helpful to give example of some songs performed and recorded primarily in the living room of my house with less than ideal recording conditions. Keep in mind that for the most part you're listening to a bunch of clueless amateur musicians/songwriters. We didn't know what we were doing through the whole process. Overall I was happy with the results.
